Civics Symposium

Join us for the annual NR Fund Civics Symposium, celebrating the work of students in the A.P. social studies department. Four to five student papers, under the umbrella topic “Generation Z Dares to Care,” will spark lively debate and conversation among a panel of experts and students alike.

Expert panelists will include: Urban League CEO, Mr. Hugh Price; Mayor of New Rochelle, Mr. Noam Bramson; New York Times best-selling author of Primary Colors, Mr. Joe Klein; and Dean of Students at Columbia Law School, Ms. Yadira Ramos-Herbert. Visiting professor at Manhattanville College and well-known author, Dr. Amy Bass, will once again be moderating. Join us at 12:30pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in the Linda Kelly Theater at NRHS.
