GRANTS PROGRAM
The Fund awards grants annually to schools, applied for by teachers, administrators, parents or students. This grant-making program is intended to supplement an instructional need or enrichment opportunity, or subsidize a program/project that might not otherwise happen or reach the ideal scale.
POETRY OUT LOUD
Each May, the Fund’s Jeremy Scheinfeld Publishing Center presents Poetry Out Loud, a festive evening of children's poetry, featuring young poets in grades 3-6. The event is a community celebration with student poets reading their original poems to an audience of family members, friends, teachers, school administrators, and public officials. The Fund publishes a bound volume of the poems for distribution to all participants and their schools.
