We are partnering with Applerouth again to make high-quality SAT prep more affordable for students this summer. Only 25 seats are available, and enrollment is first-come, first-served for current NRHS and Huguenot Academy students. Don't wait— this program will fill quickly!

The NR Fund brings expert instructors from the National Scholastic Chess Foundation to teach chess to third through fifth graders across the school district.

Grants

Since 2018, the Fund’s hallmark Grants to Schools can bring opportunities that might not happen otherwise, or help launch an innovative new idea. Grant applications are encouraged from parents, teachers, administrators and students across the school district.

Each May, Poetry Out Loud celebrates poets in grades 3-6 who read their original poems onstage at the high school. The NR Fund's Jeremy Scheinfeld Publishing Center publishes a bound volume of these wonderful poems annually for the poets and their schools. Harmony Hopwood, a Poetry Out Loud alum, was selected as Westchester County Youth Poet Laureate in 2023.

Museum of Arts and Culture

The Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC) at New Rochelle High School provides students with a unique on-site experience of gallery installation and display. All the museum's events and programs are open to the public and free, providing a cultural asset for the entire community.

From the very beginning our preschoolers were immediately engaged. They loved seeing the students' artwork and were able to make connections to their own work in portraiture, color studies, and clay hand sculptures.
